RA Minister of Nature Protection Artsvik Minasyanalongside Caucasus Nature Fund /CNF/ Executive Director Geof Giacomini and the Ministry Staff with the RA National Coordinator of CNF Arman Vermishyan as well as Financial Consultant Vardan Grigoryan were on a working visit to “Khosrov Forest” State Reserve. The Caucasus Nature Fund (CNF) assists“Khosrov Forest” State Reserve to realize operative and development programs. The RA Minister accompanied by the guests conducted a visit to the museum operating in the administrative building of the reserve, observed fauna and flora samples featuring biodiversity of “Khosrov Forest” State Reserve. In addition, the guests visited Herbarium Division of SNCO; the latter owns 6 thousand samples. Several specialists of Armenian Scientific Centers make use of plant herbariums of 1928. CNF ExecutiveDirector Geof Giacomini made a note in museum honorary guest register.   In the course of the workshopheld in the administrative building issues regarding ongoing environmental projects as well as preservation regime were considered. RA Minister Artsvik Minasyan prioritized maximum strengthening of protection regime. The Working Group headed by the Minister toured the territory of the reserve, got acquainted with the implementation process of conservation measures and conditions of visitor center established in a buffer zone of the reserve in order to enhance ecotourism.
