The session of the Board under the RA Minister of Nature Protection headed by First Deputy Minister Simon Papyan took place. The agenda included two issues: the current problems in atmosphere protection policy, the solutions and clarification of the strategy for information provision by the Ministry of Nature Protection and no tax income program index under the supervision of the Ministry of Nature Protection on the bases of 2015 State Budget and their performance (1st term outputs). As a result of discussions on the current problems of atmosphere protection policy and the solutions, the Board decided to suggest the sector specialists studying the legal acts regulating atmosphere protection, developing legal acts eliminating existing discrepancies and defects. Particularly, it is envisaged to prepare the draft of the new law on “Atmosphere protection”, comply restrictions of transport import with legislation executing in EEC, including reconsidering the taxes envisaged for used car import. The reference on no tax income program index under the supervision of the Ministry of Nature Protection on the bases of 2015 State Budget and their 1st term performance outputs was considered. Afterwards, there was suggested to ensure within the activities of Waste and Atmosphere Emissions Management Agency, Water Resource Management Agency, State Environmental Inspectorate further charging of entries by the Ministry of Nature Protection 2015 State Budget. The Board decided to develop amendments on the RA Law on “Information freedom” by the end of the year, as well as to collaborate and submit proposals to the relevant divisions over defining the list of information not considered confidential. At the end of the meeting First Deputy Minister Simon Papyan suggested the Board Members to present proposals on developing 2016 working plan of the Board.
