The “National Clean Air Dialogue" Workshop Was Held
Aram Meymaryan, Deputy Minister of Environment of the RA; Françoise Jacob, UN Resident Coordinator in Armenia; Frank Hess, Head of the Cooperation Department of the EU Delegation to Armenia; Sarangoo Radnaraagchaa, Regional Advisor to the UNECE; Irina Ghaplanyan, Senior Climate Change Advisor at the World Bank; Carolin Sanz Noriega, Air Convention Secretariat at the UNECE; along with officials from the relevant departments of the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, Yerevan Municipality, the Ministry of Environment, and representatives from non-governmental organizations, attended the workshop.

The kick-off workshop for the Biodiversity and Protected Areas component of the "Biodiversity and Sustainable Local Development in Armenia" project took place. This is the largest grant program in its field, with a current total budget of 26.2 million euros.
